Thoughts

Quick update: My straightener exploded. I almost cried but shall have to go on with my life. Granada was extremely beautiful! Absolutely breathtaking. I will be posting pictures of that tomorrow as well as the pictures from el Castillo de Santa Barbara. Went to the beach on Sunday, it was super relaxing and fun (even though my back is a little burnt). I think this weekend I will be going to Barcelona instead of the bullfight because Dr. Moss said that was fine and Barcelona is way worth it! I have made some friends from Japan and Russia and they are super nice! It is really interesting hearing what their lives are like and how different things are in their country. I love learning about cultures. Spain´s culture is so interesting too. I think its funny though that we all communicate in Spanish because that is the common language we know. Pretty cool. Its funny too how here when you talk to someone in Spain in Spanish they automatically start talking rapidly to you. Sometimes asking them to slow down doesn´t really work either because their slow is still fast for me but I´m getting better at understanding what they are saying to me. My speaking isn´t really improving because I am not forced to speak the language when I´m with my group. We all just speak in English, kinda lame but oh well.

Thoughts: I have slowly been planning in my head my next trip here. Mom and Grandma get ready! If we each save up a couple thousand dollars I think we will be set :) I would really like to come back so you guys can see Alicante and Granada and Madrid. We could even visit Rioja in the north part of Spain which is famous for its vineyards, wine tasting!  Just a thought maybe in a year or two we can return.
