Alicante!

Alicante is tan bellisimo! I love it here! The people here are extremely kind and patient. They seem happy that we are trying to speak Spanish and learn which is a great change from Madrid. The beach is beautiful (although I have only seen it from a far). My host mom, Carmina, is very nice and funny. Although I think she is trying to feed me to death because food is shoved at me every minute of the day. I´m going to be so fat once I get back to the states you won´t even recognize me. I have met her niece, brother, and sister whom were all super friendly as well. Alicante has so many great shopping opportunites I feel as though I may need to get a job while I´m here to support me love for clothes and shoes. The shoes here are extremely beautiful! I have resisted so far in buying some but I have a feeling I won´t be able to resist much longer! I love them all (which is probably no surprise to many of you)! Tomorrow is my first day of class and I have to be at the train station at 7 AM! It is going to be an early morning but that goodness they have nap time in Spain. Wish me luck in my studies!
