Well it was a long first day of class, reviewing the spanish I had learned in Spanish 2 was great an all but not really worth my money. I was moved up 2 more levels after the first day because my teacher said it was obvious I was at a higher level than the rest of the class, especially since most of them could not explain what their favorite movie is in a full sentence...awesome. The classes seem as though they will be easy all though we have homework every night. I´m planning to hit the beach today and nap under an umbrella in the sand. Let me tell you, waking up at 6 AM this morning was nothing fantastic. I was hoping my alarm clock was part of my dream and would go away soon but it didn´t until I got my butt out of bed. Bleh. Luckily the day passes quickly and I´ll have plenty of time to roam the city in the evening!
Here are some pictures! Welcome to Alicante!
The beach! Yippee!
Plaza de Luceros is the main plaza in Alicante. Beautiful!
This is me overlooking the city
The Santa Barbara Castle is on top of the hill and we are going up there tomorrow! (I think this is what you were talking about Dad)
I had to include a beautiful picture of my ice cream because I LOVE the ice cream here! So far I have eaten some everyday :)
